The top of the blouse is useful as one can then use any stitch-pattern for the rest of the blouse. First-rate!

They say that they have «knitted» something to mean «made» or «make» or «worked-on». Yes, I found that awkward too. But they do not seem to differentiate between the two arts. Here, in California, USA, people get «rather upset» when you say, for example, «What a nicely Knitted sweater.», when it's actually Crocheted! (How dare you!) «I Crochet! I do Not knit!» I have heard such comments several times. I myself am quite pleased when someone realizes I have used «The Art of Crochet». Why? Because I am unable to knit! (Without pain.) It could possibly be the Google Interpretation too.
